Rogue Trader Rhino APC

The trusty steed of the Adpetus Astartes

I am collecting 2nd edition chaos space marines. I paint them Iron Warriors. Looking at my bookshelf, there is this old copy of Rogue Trader Warhammer 40.000, which I own. This is how I started into the game. At that time, it had been 4 Eldar fire warriors. Then came the 2nd edition starter box and on went the journey.

With the new edition of Horus Heresy coming to market, I bought the starter box. Hell what is that a fine box. And with it came – beaky marines in MK6 armor. There it started all again. In addition to my 2nd edition Iron Warriors collection, came the first Rogue Trader era space marine. All beaky, all metal, all oldhammer. Getting ten miniatures together, they needed a ride.

It came handy that I bought a FDM printer. And started to experiment / how far can you push this printer. I started to print some tanks. And then, I printed a chapter approved Rogue Trader Rhino.

Design scheme was decided quickly, I must admit I got inspired by a really well painted Rhino I saw on Google image search. And here it is. All pride and glory. The Rogue Trader Rhino I did myself. From start to finish.
